I am flying out to Hollywood on Friday with my fiance Adrianne Anderson. We are looking for a new loft in downtown LA or in Hollywood.
We both have a ton of things planned for the time we are there. I think we are gonna have to schedule sleep! lol. I like it like that though. I prefer busy as all hell to bored out of my mind any day of the week. I am also going to be setting up shipment on my turbo civic, and my jetta. They are both going to be coming back to my house in philly.
We are working on a new east coast shop at the moment. It should be fully operational within the next month, and then all of the sale items I spoke about will be unpacked and up for sale as promised.
I’m also as i said thinking about giving the paypal system another chance. Any input on that from you guys would be appreciated.I’m on the fence about it at the moment. I know they have no respect or regard for their customers over there at paypal which was the main reason I closed my account. I’m torn! anyway let me know what you guys think!
Gotta run. Talk to you soon!

I haven’t had any problems myself, i know other people have. my wife kinda is, she has to fax over proof of her last name change to get it changed on their site. not really a problem more of a hassle
I have had to do all of that stuff with paypal. Fax the proof of name, a utility bill, a phone bill, and a scan of my drivers license. They are such a pain in the a$$. I read the paypal horror stories on paypalsucks.com pretty much every morning. They screw over countless people daily. Most of them for no reason what so ever, besides the fact that they feel like adding countless & pointless security measures to their accounts that keep them from doing any sort of business with ebay and every other site on the web that still accepts them. These security measure don’t stop the real crooks and scammers, they only slow down e commerce to almost a grinding halt, take a lot of time out of the lives of people who have to jump through these seemingly never ending series of hoops to gain or regain access to their paypal accounts, and in some cases they just take the information and do not restore access. I’ve seen that happen to a lot of people. One case I read was about a guy who lost his job, and he was on the verge of being evicted from his appartment, so he listed his car on ebay. He made the mistake of taking the full payment through paypal. The payment went into the account. Paypal saw the amount, and decided to run a random credit check on him. Which is legal. READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE AGREEMENT. So due to something they didn’t like on his credit check they deemed him to high risk to do business with, locked his account, and the 5,000 he made from his car. in the end he ended up being evicted, he still had to sell the car, and they held his money for 6 months. Which once again is in the contract. If they decide not to do business with you they will hold every cent in your account for 6 months. They even reserve the right to access any checking account associated with the paypal account WITHOUT your permission. I’ve read cases of them just taking funds from people checking account with the owner having no prior knowledge. Its in the contract. So they can do it. You have to be really really careful with them, or you will get the shaft like I did. I ended up taking a $3,200 total loss because of paypal’s business practices, and there is nothing at all I can do about it.
As I said though, they are one of the biggest internet payment methods. Which by the way ebay is going to be changing to paypal only in the very near future. Yes you hear me right. The only available method of payment on ebay is going to be paypal. No more checks or money orders. Just paypal. Some areas of ebay are already that way. If you are a seller you can TRY and sign up for different methods of accepting payment, but ebay can turn you down and force you to deal with paypal.

well damn, i guess i’d better be careful.
Well I’ve only had dealings with them as a buyer, not a seller but the part about wanting access to my financial institution sent the hairs on my back standing up. No deal, all my transactions with them have been via my CIBC Visa, and they know about my paranoia over ID theft, and I’ve had that since I was teen, so VISA knows who I am. However my savings and chequeing account are with a credit union. I suppose if I did use the system to sell, it would have to be in a form of sending a credit to Visa and if any screw ups occur, sic the CIBC on ‘em!
As an addendum, the people at the airsoftcanada forum have already been through much of what you went through and have switched to EMT, electronic money transfer institution to institution so it’s secure and there’s always receipts handed out to both sides and apparently with confirmations of deposits and withdrawals. I’m still getting used to the idea, being a bit of a dinosaur but it seems to work, though the banking system in Canada does seem to work a bit different so I don’t know if it would be a solution for you or not.
Nai do you know when it will arrive?
Pretty awesome stuff, I love it hah
