Hey all,
I have been in LA for the past few days, and so far it has been nothing but bad
None of my shoots happened the way I wanted them to. Some not at all. I have been so busy with work I’m behind on a few orders. I haven’t even begun looking for a place here in LA, and Adrianne and I are set to return on the 4th!
I am going to have to get a move on if this trip is not going to be a complete waste of time and thousands of dollars!
On the other hand we have been spending a lot of time with our Friend Sara. She is such a blast to stay with.
Oh well, we will see how this all turns out. I’m sure it will be fine. This is just me being nervous, and pissed that my shoots went to hell!
Talk to you all the very next time I get amonet to sit down in front of the computer.

aw but why would you want to leave, the east coast is so much fun Nai!
lol
It certainly is. I am not going to be in LA for good. We are going to be spending 50% of our time in LA, and 50% in PA.

I wouldn’t be gone for good, we have a place in Philadelphia, PA as well. Our goal is to have an east coast fort, and a west coast Headquarters. I am glad to say we have accomplished both. It took a lot of time, and work to make the necessary funds to afford both places, but it was well worth it in the end. We did have to give up our house in AZ during the process though. To be honest I hated living in AZ anyway. It made me insanely depressed. Being in the middle of nowhere. When it was dark out there was nothing to be seen for miles in any direction. The silence was deafening. All I did there was work on props. I did a lot of my best work there, but I couldn’t take the solitude. I often joked that it was like being alone on mars, mixed with Will Smiths Role in I am Legend. It was just me and my dog most days with nobody else for miles. lol. So I decided to let that go in exchange for something more becoming of someone like me. The new place in LA is a 5,000 square foot loft with the entire roof of the building that will be used as a paint booth. The building used to be a 2 story warehouse which was converted into 4 giant lofts. We were very fortunate to even find it. I owe that to a few of my friends in LA.
We are in the process of a few badly needed upgrades. Style wise, as well as security. 3 of the doors will have a biometric lock system. Meaning instead of keys you register your thumbprint to gain access. My office has a card reader along with a code that must be entered via a security keypad. The entire place is also covered by an 8 camera video surveillance system which is motion sensor based and linked into the houses computer system. Meaning it will alert everyone in the house through the computer system if the alarm is tripped. So if I am working on a picture in photoshop and Somebody knocks on the front door it will show up on my screen that the system has been tripped and video will appear on screen.
Style wise we are in the process of giving the place a futuristic/Japanese look. I will be posting some pictures of the new place as soon as it is near completion.
